On January 7th of this year, I decided it was time to blog or get off the pot, as they say. I wanted to improve my writing skills with the hope of one day publishing a novel. I hoped that the work I was doing to build technique would be of use to others, and that my readers would be willing to share their writing with me.
You would not believe how amazing it feels to have these dreams come true!
I can’t thank you all enough for supporting me. Your likes and comments are what keep me from feeling like I’m all alone out here, and when you share your writing with me, well, it’s incredible. I honestly don’t know how else to put it–I’m so honoured, and grateful for everything you share with me.
Speaking of comments though, as a celebration of reaching 100 followers, I thought I’d thank those of you who have repeatedly clicked send. My top commenters are:
David (ben Alexander) @ skepticskaddish.com
Anita Bacha @ anitabacha.wordpress.com
Michael Raven @ sceadugenga.com
Britta Benson @ Letters From Scotland
& the lovely, supremely talented, Miriam.
At this very moment these five awesome people have been entered in a draw for a $10 Amazon gift card!
When I get to 250 followers I’ll do another draw- the top 5 commenters will have a chance at a $25 Amazon gift card.
Please know, I’m so grateful to all my readers. Things have grown and developed here because you take the time to like, comment, share, and participate. I’ve made friends and built relationships that mean the world to me because of this blog. I promise to honour your support by continuing to give you the best I’ve got.
